The CSR2 WR sheet, made searchable
For years the CSR2 world records lived in one enormous shared spreadsheet — brilliant data, but a nightmare to scroll on a phone and impossible to search quickly mid-race. This page is that same data turned into a proper tool: every tier, every car with a recorded run, ranked by best ET and searchable in a second.
We keep the numbers as the community records them. A "world record" here is the fastest verified time posted for that car on a fully built, perfectly tuned setup. Treat it as the ceiling for that car, not a target for a partial build — and not a time you will run on your first pass.
How to read a record
- WR Time (Best ET)
- The record itself — the fastest run the car has posted. Lower is better, and it's what the ranking is built on.
- Dyno & Diff
- Dyno is the car's predicted time on a flawless run. Diff is how far the real run beat it. A negative Diff means the driver squeezed out more than the dyno said was possible, usually through better shift timing.
- PP and EVO
- The build's strength. Higher isn't automatically faster, which trips up a lot of players.
- Nitro, Final Drive, Tyre
- The exact tune used for the record — your starting point for matching it.
- Stars
- Purple stars beat gold: they unlock more fusion slots, which is why almost every top time is a purple-star car.
The single most common mistake is copying a tune from the wrong variant of a car. Many models appear several times on this sheet at different star ratings or Elite Customs levels, and they do not always want the same nitro or final drive. Match the row, not just the name.
Seeing what a fully built car can do is also the moment a lot of players start looking for a shortcut to get one. Before you go down that road, it is worth reading what actually happens with CSR2 mods and modded accounts — the short version is that the account you lose is the one you spent months building.
One trap: don't compare times across tiers
A Tier 4 record of 9.35s looks slower than a Tier 3 record of 7.08s — but the T4 car isn't slower. Race distances change between tiers, so raw times only make sense withina tier. That's why this tool ranks each tier separately: a Rank 1 in Tier 3 and a Rank 1 in Tier 5 are both the fastest in their class, even though their times look nothing alike.
The record holder in each tier
- T1Ford Mustang Boss 302 (E.C. Level 50)11.551s
- T2Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Coupé (E.C. Level 50)8.273s
- T3Audi RS 3 performance edition7.077s
- T4Ford Mustang Dark Horse (Transmission S5)9.352s
- T5BTTF Part III 'Time Machine'6.505s
The Tier 5 fight is by far the tightest. With 931 cars recorded in that tier, the top handful are separated by hundredths of a second — switch to the Tier 5 tab and sort by best ET to see how narrow the margins get at the front.
Frequently asked questions
What are the CSR2 world records?
They're the fastest recorded times for each car in CSR Racing 2, set on a fully built car with an optimal tune. Each record is the car's best ET (elapsed time) — the lower the time, the higher the rank.
What is the fastest car in CSR2?
The fastest recorded time in this database belongs to the BTTF Part III 'Time Machine' at 6.505 seconds (Tier 5). The top of the leaderboard is a tight cluster of Tier 5 cars within a few hundredths of a second of each other.
What do BEST ET, PP, EVO and DYNO mean?
BEST ET is the record elapsed time — the actual race result. DYNO is the car's predicted time on a perfect run. PP and EVO measure a build's strength. DIFF is how far the real run beat the dyno prediction; a negative number means the car ran faster than the dyno said it would.
How are the rankings calculated?
Every car is sorted by best ET, fastest first. In the 'All cars' view that's a global ranking across all tiers; within a tier tab it's ranked against that tier only. Cars with no recorded time are listed last, unranked.
What's the tune next to each record?
The nitro, final drive and tyre pressure values used to set that record, alongside the dyno time. Treat them as a starting point for your own car rather than a guaranteed result.
Can I actually hit these times?
Only with a fully maxed car and near-perfect driving — all upgrade stages complete, Stage 6 parts and fusions fitted, usually on a 5-star version of the car. Treat a record as the ceiling for that car, not a target for a partial build.
Where does this data come from?
These times and tunes are recorded and maintained by the CSR2 player community. We reproduce that work in a searchable form; we are not the origin of the data and we don't verify individual runs.
Data credit
These records were compiled by the CSR2 player community over years of testing. We host them in a searchable form and claim no ownership of the data. If you maintain the source sheet and want the credit here worded differently — or a correction made — get in touch.
