Find a CSR2 crew, or find players
Find a crew, recruit players for yours, or just race with people. CSR Racing 2 has no central crew list, so it all happens in one place. Pick what you came for.
All three go to the same CSR2 Hub Discord. Free, opens in Discord, and we never ask for your game login.
Why there is no crew list on this page
We thought about building one and decided against it, for a reason worth being straight about: a crew directory goes stale faster than anyone can maintain it. Crews fill up, go quiet, change requirements or disband, often within a few weeks. A list of crews that mostly no longer exist is worse than no list, because it wastes the time of the people it is supposed to help.
We also have no accounts and no moderation, so we could not verify a single entry or remove a bad one quickly. Recruitment belongs somewhere live, where a post from last week visibly sinks and a post from today gets answered. That is what the Discord is for.
What to put in a looking-for-crew post
Most posts that go unanswered are unanswered because nobody can tell whether the person would fit. Five lines fixes that:
- Your tier
- Most crews recruit for a specific tier. Leading with it saves everyone time.
- Your rough level
- A best time or EVO on your main car. Not to show off, just so a crew knows if you fit.
- Your timezone
- The single most overlooked line. A crew that is asleep when you play is no crew at all.
- How often you play
- Daily, a few times a week, weekends only. Be honest — overstating it is why people get removed.
- What you want
- Competitive event pushing, or somewhere relaxed to sit. Both are fine. Saying which avoids a bad match.
If you are recruiting for a crew
The same problem in reverse. "Active crew looking for active members" tells a reader nothing and attracts exactly the people you will remove in a fortnight.
- Say the tier and the requirement up front
- Vague posts attract people you will remove next week.
- State the contribution expectation in numbers
- If there is a minimum during events, write it down. Nobody minds a clear bar; people mind a surprise one.
- Say how active the crew actually is
- How many members played the last event. Real numbers get real replies.
- Name the timezone the crew lives in
- This decides fit more than anything else on the list.
- Say what you do not want
- Honest exclusions save both sides a conversation.
How to judge a crew before you commit
Size is the number people look at and the least useful one. A fifteen-player crew where everyone plays daily will out-perform a full crew that is half dormant, every time. Three questions worth asking before you join:
- How many members were actually active in the last crew event?
- What is expected of me during an event, stated as a number rather than as “just be active”?
- Which timezone are most members in?
A crew that answers all three clearly is a crew that is run properly. One that gets vague about expectations before you join will not get clearer afterwards.
The one rule that matters
No crew, crew leader or recruiter ever needs your login, your password, your Player ID "to add cars", or access to your account for any reason whatsoever. There is no legitimate version of that request. Anyone who makes it is trying to take the account, and leaving the conversation costs you nothing.
We will never ask for any of it either. More on how these approaches are usually dressed up on the mods and scams page.
Common questions
- How do I find a CSR2 crew?
- Crew recruitment happens in Discord servers and in-game chat rather than through any official list. Post what tier you play, your rough times or EVO, your timezone and how often you play, then reply to recruitment posts that match. A good post gets answers within a day.
- What should I look for in a CSR2 crew?
- Activity over size. A crew of fifteen people who all play daily beats a full crew where half have not logged in for a month. Ask how many members were active in the last event, what the contribution expectations are, and which timezone most members play in.
- Do CSR2 crews have requirements?
- Most do, and they vary enormously. Common ones are a minimum tier, a minimum contribution during crew events, and staying active. Ask before you join rather than after, because being removed for missing a requirement nobody told you about wastes everyone's time.
- Is it safe to join a CSR2 crew?
- Joining a crew inside the game is safe. What is not safe is anyone who asks for your login details, your Player ID with a promise to add cars, or access to your account for any reason. No legitimate crew needs any of that. Leave immediately if asked.
- Can I recruit players for my crew on CSR2 Hub?
- Not on the website itself, because we have no accounts and cannot verify or moderate listings that would go stale within weeks. Recruit in the Discord instead, where posts stay current and people can reply to you directly.
